mine do the same thing...ive been puzzled about it...as for the door not shutting, its more than likely sagging and thats causing it to be hard to shut, use wd 40 and spray the post the door closes onto and the latching stuff in the side of the door

Roll the windows up and spray the hell out of the inside of the door with some Silicone spray. Use the straw attachment and just aim towards all the moving lock parts. Hit the lock and unlock buttons while spraying and watch them come to life. Another tip, before you start, look inside the door with the window rolled down, shining a flashlight in there so can get an idea of what needs to be hosed down.
My locks didnt work properly for a long time, I would have to hit the lock or unlock buttons 5-10 times for them to lock or unlock all the way, or until I reached over and just locked or unlocked them myself, but not anymore, I can be lazy again.

They're absolutely right!!! A little WD40 should fix it! WD40 is one of those great things everyone should have. You can fix anything with enough WD40 and duct tape!
But seriously, I had the same problem on my 92RS. I posted a question, and everyone said lube the heck out of it. I did. And, it fixed it. When you spray the inside linkage and the inside of the door latch mechanism, also pull the rubber boot up on the actuator and spray WD40 liberally inside the actuator assembly (then put the boot back in place). The actuator is the little motor assembly that actually pulls and pushes the linkage.

I just got power to my locks, and they do the same thing. the motor for them moves and the slider moves, but the locks will not fully lock or unlock.
what exactly is it I need to do to fix this? remove the door pannel and spray all the lock pieces with WD40 or silicon spray?

No, just try sparying the plastic slidle location first. Do this and work it in by moving the lock & ublock by hand to work the lube in real good. This works most of the time before I would be tearing the door panels off.
