Anyone know how to fix the gain switch?
alright, i found instructions to wire your aftermarket amp to the gain switch in my gta, but the problem is the on/off button works but the slider switch doesn't, i can't figure out how to take the damn thing apart and its making me mad. i sprayed some of that dust remover crap in it and that didn't help, if anyone knows how to fix this i would appreciate the help.

i wouldnt take it apart the housing can break easy then you are SOL'd.
see if you can find a buddy whos got a simple voltmeter and measure the resistance differences when you slide the thing back and forth. if you see a change the slider is probably working OK and you have another problem. another thing you can try is hooking up a light or LED instead of a speaker (and use 12v or such as power instead of head unit) and see if the light gets brighter or dimmer when you slide it.
