can anyone identify these wires???

ok, the car is a 86 iroc, had 5.0L TPI automatic. i bought it with all intentions to part it out, but now i'm gonna revive it. as i was going through what was left of the engine cpmpartment...i came across these two wires......im puzzled...there are two wires coming out of like where the passenger side upper control arm mounts, like right on top of the front subframe, 1 blue wire, 1 black they are cut and still in there tight, i pullled and they wouldnt budge, anyone have any clue what these go to, or are they maybe just stuck in there from another time when some work may have been done around there.....anyways, im just curious, whether or not i find out what they are, i'll cut them further back anyway and pay no attention to it in the future.....

No clue. Maybe side marker or something that somebody's rewired?

Also, I hope that's gasket or loose material on the block, and not rust...

Right in that area is where the A/C pressure switch would have been (correct wire colors too). They could have been cut and the harness plug is just wedged in there.
