2 questions windows & new alarm
2 questions windows & new alarm
ok, is it common to have to replace the power window motors?? I have a 94 Firebird. The windows are really slow and weak. Sometimes they just stop going up, if they sit a few minutes it goes the rest of the way up. Is this a job I need to take it to the Pontiac place to fix?? I would prefer to save some money. I am no mechanic but I did install my own cieling fan-lol.
the second question-I already have an alarm in my car. well the clicker is crap, I have had one problem after another with the clickers. It is embarrasing to lock my car and the clicker not cut the alarm off when I am ready to leave work! I have no choice but so set off the alarm. Anyway I would like to put a new alarm in it. Can I use the previous wiring or do I need to have it rewired?
thanks!!

maybe you should try lubing the moving parts on the windows
did you try replacing the battery in the remote
i imagine if you get the same brand and model alarm you could use the same wiring, otherwise i wouldnt trust it.
