green wire?

green wire?

hey guys, i was doing a compression test on cylinders 1 & 3. while i was fooling around there i noticed a green wire hangin freely. and now my temp guage doesnt work, so im guessing thats what the green wire was for . i cant find where it plugs in though...can anyone give me some insight as to were it goes? thanks

the temp sender for the dash gauge is on the drivers side of the motor between the front two plugs. it can be really hard to see, you may even need a small mirror.
