i jsut got a new cd player and wired it up with my old pioneer wiring from the previous owner and it kept over heating so i pulled it and sent it in to get fixed and they said they had no problem with it. i think its the wiring but im not positive, what could cause it to over heat? fyi, both front speaker positives were wired together, both rear posatives were wired together, adn then all the negatives were all bundled together alogn wiht the negative that ran from teh head unit and it seems like its not grounded at all and i have no clue how it even worked but my old pioneer worked fine and never had any problem. i posted this in car audio but everybody though it was the internal amp wich it isnt so im posting it here because i think its the wiring. and also does anybody know how hard it is to install a car alarm and how expensive to buy one? thanks alot
