everything is dead

Ok heres the deal. Its all dead nothing works. Imagine the battery being dead. Thats what the problem is like except, the battery is just fine.
I know that the wire feeding the computer and the fusebox and everything else, comes off of a terminal on the starter solenoid.
I redid this connection before and it fixed the problem.
Has anyone had the wire go bad on them or had a similar problem? What could be causing the bad connection ?
thanx 4 yor time.
Oh yea 1988 camaro TBI

Sounds like a fusible link. Many people have enjoyed this problem. A search should get you all the info you need.

yes, probably a fusable link. My car did the same thing when I blew 3 fusable links... the Fusable links are usually located near the starter.
