Transmission: Borg warner T-5
i think i broke them!!!

i took the needles off he gauges in my cluster so i could put these white overlays on. but when i wentto put them on, i forgot where they were all pointing when i took them off. if i put all te needles back on pointing to zero, or lowet measurement will the gauge be in accurate now? the gauges are all electric.
please help

i'd say turn the car off, and all the gauges should reset, then put the needles all on 0.

but.. hmm. that's not the best way to do it, i suppose

dang, beat me to it.

IIRC, if you turn the key to on position, everything but the fuel gauge drops to zero. I'd pull the needles off again, turn the key on and go from there. As far as fuel goes, I'm not really sure the best way to do that. Good Luck

for the fuel gauge, I would ground the sender wire and the gauge goes to FULL (open, it goes to E)

Is there any way to set just the speedometer to zero without installing it in the car? I would rather have everything assembled before I install it.
