I recently bought a 91 RS L03, 4L60, 111k miles. It is pretty much loaded with the electric accessories. Problem: the tach is off 1500 rpms. When I start it and it is idling, the tach reads 2200 rpms. What could be causing this and how do I fix? I will be selling this car soon, so I want to fix it to eliminate the question. I am pretty sure the instrument cluster is for a v8, since the redline for a 6 and 8 are different.
