Too hot in car

Why is tis that every time I drive down the road for about 10-15 min, it starts to get real hot in the car. My heater is off and still gets hot in the car. please help.

Whats your temp guage say?
Most likely you need the little black chin spoiler that mounts underneath the radiator. If I remember correctly, your car didnt have one when I saw it. That spoiler is critical for cooling. The car doesnt have any grills so all the air has to be collected and sent up through the radiator by that spoiler. GM sells them for about $25-30.

Does it have anything to maybe do with the little black chin spoiler that mounts underneath the radiator. My car doesn't have that spoiler and its critical for cooling isn't? The car doesnt have any grills so all the air has to be collected and sent up through the radiator by that spoiler.

If you are missing that spoiler your car should be running hot. What is the temp gauge at?
