Okay a few weeks ago I got caught in a heavy downpour in my 84 custom convertible Trans Am. When I got home, the top motor wouldn't stop going down, I had to disconnect the battery to stop it. It would do it even when the car was totally off. Next day, put it in the hot sun and problem solved. Except now I can only get the top to go up, never down. It doesn't respond at all to down. What happened here? Burned out the motor? Short?
