check on the main page of this site, there is a tech. section that has a bunch of scanned wiring diagrams there, you may find what you are looking for.

thank you! !

and thannks for anything further also

i still cant find what the pair of wires that are orange and orange wiuth black stripe at shifter area of the consoel assembly are for, one is cut, and i cant find connector for cig lighter,

this is a firebird

the wiring digram just shows orange wires and none with stripe,

i cant read what fuse panel slots are labeled, that stuf fis worn off, or id pull the cig lighter fuse and see if the cut orange wire goes dead.

should lihter always work or just with key on ??

and id like to find out about the smaller brown wire from ALDL connecotr underdash and over to front left hand corner of interior compartment under the dash with the large harness there, i highly doubt its inviolved wewith lights like most brown wires usually are

thanks

Hey Fast69,

The Lighter should have juice even without the key on. Furthermore, The solid orange one is probibly for the lighter.I'm not sure what else, except the Neutral Saftey and radio's battery back-up (which is solid orange), under there that needs constant voltage? Are both of those hooked up?

Got me on the brown Wire!
