Foglight Switch Wiring...Question.

I know that there are people out there that have done this, so I am hoping to hear some results and some advice.
I am wiring up a factory foglight switch to run the second cooling fan on my '89 Formula 350. I have a completely dedicated circuit for this fan, I used to run just a regular toggle switch, but that became an eyesore so I want to see if I can incorporate the foglight switch to do this. I have seen one Formula with a foglight switch but I am not sure what was wired up to it.
My first question is does anyone know the amp rating on that switch?? I don't want to put too much power throught it and blow it.
If anyone has any wiring suggestions from one they might have done I would appreciate it if you shared them. I have a schematic for the switch and related harness but, that is a mess because it is also wired into the high beam switch and the dimmer for the guage panel.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark

Its a light duty switch because it too runs a relay. I take it you are going to delete the fog lamps? You can't run fan power through it, but you can use it just like any manual fan switch and simply put a ground on the aux fan relay. Just unplug the harness connector from it get a couple of female spade connectors that fit ground one end and feed the other to the aux fan relay as shown anywhere on this site.

I'm using the factory foglight switch on my IROC as a manual fan switch. I simply got a wire tap, and tapped into the green / white wire coming off the fan relay. I ran a wire from there to one side of the foglight switch. On the other side of the switch I ran a wire to a good ground.

Now, the fan comes on when the ECM commands, just like it should....but if I want to cut it on earlier or leave it on in traffic, I just hit the switch, and best of all there is no voltage going through the foglight switch.

Ok perfect, can you tell me which terminals you are using on the back of the switch?
Thanks
