Did myRadiator killed my alternator?

My alternator fan went dead causing the fluid to heat up and escape to the radiator white jug and splash on my alternator. Does getting liquid in the alternator kill it?

It can damage it, but probably not. Are you having problems with the alternator now?

Well I thought my alternator went dead but it's still good. The problem I am having right now is the the fan fuse keeps blowing, so my fan does not work along with my car not charging.
It seems that the fan circuit is tied up with the charging system.
Well I used a meter and found a short from the fan circuit fuse.

My wires were melted by a mechanic (melted on exhaust manifold)
a few months ago so maybe they went bad again.

Yes!

Put in a new harness and it fixed all of my problems. Turns out that the fan and alternator are on the same circuit and the alternator wire was melted.
