Temperature Gauge Flutters

Anyone hade a problem with their temperature gauge fluttering while driving? Not sure what's causing this, but have an idea that my sending unit maybe going bad. Anyone with tis?

I noticed your name on your post. I knew a Jeff Morgan in Denver, who was from Texas. That wouldn't be you would it?? We had some wild times in a '70 Malibu!!

either that or a loose wire....my fuel tank gauge does that...$500 for a new one-YEAH RIGHT!!! owell i just play a guessing game with it-lol-so far so good!!
