Tachometer problems
Has anyone figured out what the fix is for the crazy acting tach.
Mine just started this at the same time my alternator went out.
My tach suddenly went to 6000rpm when I was at cruise.
I stopped the car shut if of the restarted and now the tach is of about 300rpm but still pegs out when i rev the engine.

Ok I figured out the problem and its been fixed.
I spoke with the peple at Autocraft Electronics
(they repair GM Instrument Clusters)
There's a resitor pack thats used to calibrate the Tach inside the
Cluster, It's failed.
I had them replace it and check Calibration of my Tach and my
speedo and replace all the bulbs.
$145.00
