removed A/C, can I still use 2nd fan?
I removed the A/C, with a dual fan set-up. Does this mean the second fan will not work anymore? From what I understand, the second fan will turn on when A/C is being used. Any help with this?

The aux fan should still function when the engine coolant temp goes above 243 degrees. Aux fan was controlled by A/C pressure switch, but also by the fan switch in the block on the pass side. As long as that is intact you should have no problems whatsoever.
If for any reason the second fan does not turn on you can always run the wires to that fan to a switch mounted wherever you want it. That way, if you feel that you need more cooling you can control it. I know someone who did this while stationed in North Texas. He had a Ford van with a 460, but the principle is the same.
