Ok, I had to get a new temp sensor wire cause my old one was brittle and fell apart after new temp sensor was put in!!! Anyway went to pepboys and they had the wire with connector. My question is what is the best way to wire this in????

Use a non insulated butt connector, crimp then solder it. First get a couple of different sizes of heatshrink tubing so you can layer it. That should give a decent waterproof seal.
