does this sound like a blown fuse? if not, please offer advice

HEY GUYS,

I have been having some problems lately with my 84 LG4 TA. The choke (which i now understand to also be the alt light) has been on ALL THE TIME. THE high idle linkage has been sticking on start up, causing the car to idle at 4000 until it "unsticks, but that has been fixed and the choke light remains on.

The car traveled about 200 miles yesterday, and driving it today, i noticed the amp guage going down... It made it to a friends house and then had to be jumped, went to another friends house and it now sits there. Some talk was made about a blown fuse, which might be possible. Could another possibility be the idiling high thing really messing the alt up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS

TOMBO

High rpm if anything will cause the alt to have more output. perform the usual checks, most likely the alt is going south.
