For the Wiring Guru's, the Two Wires from Electric Pump...

Does anyone know the color of the two wires coming from the electric fuel pump (86 TPI IROC)? Also, do they both enter the body of the car back by the hatch..... or do they run along the chassis, then enter somewhere by the door?

Eventually I'll have to raise the car up, but I thought I'd get a head start as to what I'm looking for;

Basically... the two lines from the Fuel Pump Relay that go to the Electric Fuel Pump (The thick - Tan/White one & the Thinner - Orange one). These two wires follow the harness towards the ECM, then get connected to another connector.... in which they then change color to Red/Black & Brown.

What I wanted to know is (if anybody is familiar with the color coded wires on their fuel pumps), are the wires coming from the electric fuel pump Red/Black and Brown? I need to know if they 'again' change to other colors.... as I'm trying to rig my Fuel Pump to both run off of a Relay AND a fuse (my ECM is out, and I want to add additional power surge protection)....

Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
There are three wires coming into the car from the fuel pump; these usually enter just behind the rear seatback and run under the driver's side rear seat, then along the inner rocker panel.
The wires are tan, pink, and black. The tan one provides power to the pump; the pink one sends a signal to the gauge, and the black is ground for both, and is sometimes attached to the lower rear seat mounting bracket.

THANK YOU!!!!

You just saved me LOADS of work, as I was just about ready to take off the dash to see if they again changed colors from another connector.... but by taking out the back seat, three wires from the tank became prevalent!

Thank you bro, as I started to question the second wire (from the relay going to the tank), and was ready to simply discard it.... when you just reminded me of the fuel level gauge!!!!

Thanks man!
