Installed Accel Coil, now tach is messing up
hi,
A few days ago I installed an accel remote coil in my 87 TA. Ever since then the tach has started to flutter over 3000 RPM (jumping up and down between 3000 and 5000.) This only seems to happen when the car is at WOT in 1st gear from a stop, or when the car downshifts to 1st or 2nd at WOT. I tried messing with the connections on the coil but it didn't work. Anyone know what could be wrong?
