WEll i cant figure out y my darn interior dash lights dont work. Im refering to the lights that light up around the guages and the shifter. The outside lights work when i pull out the *** but the interiordash and shifter dont work. Hoever, when the *** is pulled out and the headlights are on if i tunr the *** all the way to the right nad barely push it in the lights coem on! But as soon as i let go they go off. What is losse and causing this, How can i fix it! Please help

Yes when i pull it out and push it in just a bit the lights will come on until i let go and then they go off. Is there a fix to this

 

replace the switch about $10 at autozone.

 

Had the same trouble only mine would work if I worked the **** a little. Just changed the switch today. I was sort of a pain. The instrument panel has to come out which is not that hard except for the speedometer cable.
