I'm having trouble getting my 91 z28 back on the road. After putting a fresh motor in the fuel pump will not turn on. I have check the wires at the relay and athe orange is always hot and the ground is connected. I changed the relay. What makes the ecm send the signal to the relay. i think that may be where my problem is. Thanks for any help or suggestions. I need it back on the road for monday.

 

I took the realy off and jumped the orange to the gray and the pump came on but it still wouldnt start.

 

Maybe your ecm is bad. I'm assuming you have tpi? Check to see if the injectors are getting an injector pulse.
