Ok guys I"m so close to getting this camaro up and running, the engine in the machine shop is done and awaiting for me to pay and pick it up but the car is in pieces. so I have some questions about the wiring, first a little background. I have the painless wiring 18 circut keyed column kit. I changed the car from automatic to stickshift. now so far I have the rear lights hooked up and currently finishing the power windows, but

1. how do I hook up the brake lights to the pedals, when I got the pedals the brakelight sensor was broken, any ideas where I can get this sensor? the people at the chevy dealer are always giving me the same crap ,"it's discontinued and we don't have that part" and I know thats some bs because other cars use the same brake sensor. I just don't know which ones

2. also the power locks. this one really gets me, it uses a relay but how do I hook up the power, to the relay to the switch then back to the doors and what not ??? or were the power from the wiring kit is supposed to go first.

3. the dash THE DASH aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, the rear defroster, the wiring kit didn't bring one so I had to install the defroster myself and now I just have to connect it to the fuse box and I"m just a little unsure on how to do that.

4. the light switch (where you turn the lights on and off)...... that has like 15 wires going in and out of it and so far I only have like 8 that are supposed to connect to it.... and they are different colors.

5. the worse part..... the guages, I want to use the stock gauges I'm not really into putting autometer in my car, but does anyone know how I can hook up the stock guages to the wires of the wiring kit? and how can I get the lights to light up when I turn on the lights in the dash? or am I going to have to invent something out of the blue?

anything is helpful at this point.... even if you say "dude your screwed" that's also appreciated
