i need a chip burned for a 92 to remove the vats
i need to have sombody burn my chip to remove the vats so that i can finish my engine swap. any suggestions or if you can burn one let me know a price.
thanks
thanks
if you want a really cheap way to bypass vats, just cut the 2 wires going up the column (I think its white and purple) and splice in a resistor the same value as the key. To read the key resistance, just put one lead from a multimeter on each side of the little pod on your key.
Let me know if you have any questions on how to do it

i would but i swapped the motor into an s-10 and its all diferent.the only thing i think i can do is to find somone who can burn it i guess????
What year of s-10? I don't think it will matter what you put it in, your s-10 should still have the resistor in the key, therefor you can cut the wires coming off of the lock and tumbler and splice in a resistor.

nope its a old one... a 83 that is in good shape so we are gonna do a fuel injected v6 swap. so pretty much my only option is to have it burned.
