It's Dead

I got into my car the day before yesterday. Turned the key. NOTHING. The car won't start the lights won't come on, not even the hood light works. The battery is good. Tested last week during my auto class. Alternator is good too. Is there a fuse somewhere under the hood that controls everything and if so where is it? Someone please help me out.

Did you check all the fuses in the fuse box under the dash?

not just trying to start the car, but EVERYTHING is dead? Headlights and horn dont even work, and the battery is good??? If thats the case, clean off your battery terminals and use your multimeter to test continuity in the wires, make sure the battery has good contact. Then just either test for continuity, or hook up the battery and read voltage, but just follow the wires away from the battery and keep testing until you find where your loosing all your power. Probably not far from the battery. If i understand you right and EVERYTHING is dead, it must be a frayed wire or loose connector or something not far from the battery, if not the terminals themselves.

I took my little $6 test light bought from pep boys for just this sitiation(pronounced Sit-E-A-tion.) It turned out to be the battery terminal. I cleaned it up and made sure it was good and tight....my camaro runs again....kinda
