Pretty much all the plastic connectors in the car, you can take apart, the little copper pins are crimped to the wires.....all that stuff says P.E.D on it....How common are those pins and plastic connectors? Anyone know where i can pick those up? I'm thinking like ace hardware or radio shack isn't going to carry them.

 

Argh...Figgures, dealerships round here sell those copper pins (wire terminals they're called) to the shops only. They wont let me buy any. I gotta find a place to get those things, to replace the one i broke on my hatch pulldown motor relay...Else i cant close my trunk and that means i cant drive

S'pose worse case scenario i go to the yard and cut a few off a car, but they're not really re-usable once crimped it's kinda a bad connection after that.....

 

If I'm not mistaken, Pep Boys carries terminal pin kits in the electrial isle. They also carry replacement pre-assembled harness connectors that can be soldered on inplace of old broken harness plugs.
You could also try a search on Google for them or check out electronic specialty stores (websites) similar to www.mcmelectronics.com

 

heh i'll be damned, i tried a few electrical supply places, and the dealership had them but wouldnt sell them, i didnt think pep boys would have them, but sure enough, thanks
