ok well one night my parking lights just whent out and it was the fuse that blew so i replace it and it just blows out againg about 2 seconds after i turn on the lights. i followed all the wires and cannot find a short. i am getting verry pissed off. i was wondering is it possible that it could be my headlight switch, or something else please help this car is my every day driver and now i cant drive int at night.oh yea its a 89 iroc if that helps.

 

sounds like the headlight switch is shorting out. If this happened all a sudden, then i would say the switch is bad.

ya it did happen all of a sudden. i will change it and see what happends thanks alot.

 

Check the bulbs too, if one of the bulbs is shorting out it will pop the fuse.

 

i changed the light switch new from auto zone $12 and still does the same thing. i will check out all the bulbs to night.
