Will i need a resistor?
ok im switching from TPI to carb and doing a completely new wiring job and i have some ideas. well im goin to run the fuel pump off the original relay and have a manual switch for it on my console, and im replacing all the indidcator lights on the intrument panel with custom ones that will say "FAN 1" "FAN 2" and "FUEL PUMP" and im going to run a hot wire to each bulb from the hot wire out of the relays to the pump and fans so i will know if the components are really "on" (my idea of a crude sensor setup) anyways im wondering if the voltage feed to the little bulb in the panel will be too much and ill have to run a resistor can those bulbs hanlde 12 volts i know 2.2volt LEDs cant but i jus dont want to blow the bulbs in the panel..

If you are using stock-type 168 or 194 bulbs, they'll be fine with no resistor. If you want to use those 2.2 volt LED's, they'll need a 680 ohm resistor.
