Where is the swith located for the hood light??
I think my light is staying on when I close my hood. I tryed to find the switch that controls it, with no luck. I had to relocate the light after I installed a STB somehow relocating it has affected when it goes off. It seems like now the hood has to be closed all the way before it goes out or use to go out, like I mentioned I don't think it's going out at all any more. All I did was move the light a couple inches to the side. Someone help!!

I always thought the light was turned on/off by the parking lights. Thats how it is on some other cars I've worked on(Fiero, Cutlass Ciera)
I dunno, thats wierd.
Did you disconnect it when you moved it?

I'm refering to the light that is under the hood that comes on when you open it. Has nothing to do with parking lights

It is inside the light fixture itself, like a mercury type switch, comes on when hood opens so far...if you changed the angle that it mounts, even a small amount different from stock, it would open or shut at a different hood position than before.
