Locate the IAC - 1988 Camaro TBI
Hi, new here, and to car maintenance. For the life of me, I can't locate the the IAC, and no amount of searching under the hood or on the internet has helped. I'm asking you guys for what probably has a completely obvious solution. Any direction will help a lot.

As you're looking at the engine from the front of the car, it'll be on the left of the carb. Remove air cleaner first

The cables I just pulled out of the air cleaner. To access the IAC you should pull of the TBI. To do that, there are just three bolts holding it down and remove all the vacuum and fuel lines. One you take it off, turn it upside down. There will be a path for air to travel to the throttle blades that starts at the IAC. You will need a big wrench to remove it. All of this is complicating, but you will understand once the TBI is in your hands.

The electrical plug underneath the air cleaner is your IAT, intake air temp sensor, you can just unplug that. Your gonna have the heat stove to take off from the exhaust on the driver side, just pull up. Next you'll have one vacuum line running from you air cleaner to your throttle body, just pull it off the throttle body and your air cleaner should come right off, make sure the nut is off!!
If your standing in front of your car looking at the motor with air cleaner off, the IAC, idle air controller, will be on the passenger side of the throttle body. There are two sensors there, your IAC is the farther back to the firewall one with a SQUARE connector, the other rectangle connector is your TPS, throttle position sensor. You will need a large crescent wrench to take it out, it is doable with the throttle body on the motor.
