when i apply the brakes, my driver side brake light doesn't light up, but when i just turn on my lights the the light works? but it doesnt get brighter when my tail lights are on?

 

sounds like you've got a bad bulb. remember that thirdgens use dual filament bulbs in places.

 

I hear ya man. It's a bulb. The same thing happened to me except it was the other way around. The one on my drivers side would get brighter when I hit the breaks but the one on my passenger side wouldn't. I still need to fix that.
