Infl Rest light
When I bought my car the guy I got it from told me to wait until the Infl Rest light stops blinking to start the car. I know this light has to do with the airbag, but what is the reasoning behind this? Is there any, or was the guy just an idiot?
Btw, I waited for the light to stop for about a week after I bought the car, then I started getting impatient and now I just fire it right up every time.

It doesn't really mean anything, you don't have to worry about letting it finish vefore starting it up, start it up all you want.
All it does is do a check of allt he airbag sensors, one blinck for each working one when the car is first turned on. I think it is 7 blinks or something like that. Just ignore it.
