ok, i have a brand new harness. and i just want the car to go. i dont really care about ins and outs, i just want the core basics that are required for allowing the car to run. i have a non-cc carb setup. obviously i need the battery, the alternator, the starter, and the distributor. is there anything else im missing?

 

If you're not using the ECM at all, you are going to have to wire up all your gauges to bypass the ECM, and you will have to wire up your fuel pump also. It passes through a circuit that will not allow the fuel pump relay to activate if the ECM doesn't see oil pressure. I'm sure there is more, maybe the other guys on here can chime in to help you out
