Anybody know where I could get the switch / bulb holder for the console light on an 87 TA? I was taking the console out and while I was trying to get this light out, it came apart and the little spring shorted between the 2 contacts and burnt the spring in half. (Yeah, I know I shoulda unhooked the battery).
All I really need is another spring, but I can't find one of those either. It's smaller than a ball point pen spring.
Anyone have any suggestions on where to get a spring or a new switch? All the consoles are gone out of local junk yards.

Check radioshack for some small DC motor brush springs, other than that...junkyard.

You could also send thirdgenresource.com an email. I know they salvage wrecked 3rd gens.
