brake-light problem

Hey, I'd appreciate some input on this one. My left/rear brake light doesnt come on when my lights are off, but if i turn them on(parking or regular lights), it works. Kind of wierd... I don't know if this is related, but my left front highbeam is burnt out. Any suggestions?

it sounds like you've got a bad ground. I've had similar issues with parking lamps and directionals. One side works with the lights off, the other side works with them on. 99% of the time, quirky crap like that is a grounding issue.

sorry, I've been busy lately, I know some time has passed. Its not the brake light bulb, i think its a ground. Any clue of which grounds I should check???

The one that is broken.

i.e. start checking all the grounds associated with that circuit. Start at the source and work your way back.
