Firebird/TA guage lights not working...

Firebird/TA guage lights not working...
My guage lights are not coming on when I turn on my lights. They work when a hot wire is jumped in the fuse box. I replaced the headlight switch thinking that the dimmer took a crap, but no lights. Any clue what this might be?

Yes. I already checked this. This also happened on my 86 T/A. I am not sure what happened to both cars, but I have to have a hot wire jumped to the guage fuse for the lights to come on. I have it hooked in with an ignition hot so they don't stay on.
