have a vats bypass ?
i lost my only key so i am going to buy a vats bypass does anyone know how to hook it up? is it easy?

that doesnt help me because you have to know the value of the old key which i dont so i am going to buy a vats bypass sytem from this corvette plce for 25.00 dollars does anyone know how to hook it up they say it plugs in somewhare under the colum.

i cant use that info because you need the value of the old key i dont have that so i want to buy this bypass system from this corvette place i wanna know if it will work?

You can do this. Instead of using a fixed value resistor as stated in the instructions on the tech section purchase a 20 turn 25k ohm potentiometer or variable resistor. Somewhere on the net you can find the different values for the resistor pellets in the keys. Adjust the pot for the different values until the car starts, then drop a little nail polish to lock the pot and you are set.
