What voltage from VATS?

I have a camaro w/out VATS but i put a TPI system in that does so the computer won't kick on the injectors. My question is does anyone know what voltage is sent to the computer from the VATS decoder?

The vats module does not send a voltage out to the computer it pulse width modulates a voltage coming from the ecm. The ecm typically sends out 5 volts, the vats module then toggles it to ground at a 40-60 HZ cycle. There are many diagrams around to build a signal generator to fake the signal or have someone burn a chip with it disabled.

the easiest route is to either get a chip with Vats deleted made, or to get one of thoes signal generaters premade that will pretend to be the vats module....

you could also find a vats module, add the proper key lock cyl, run the wires and just put vats in your car.... alot more work, but its worth it if someone ever trys to steal your car.

they may have busted the column, but they didnt get the car: http://josh.swoca.net/board/mrdude/stolen
