maf burn relay circuit
My Haynes Manual wiring schemitic is not correct. I have a 86 irocz
305 tpi with 700r trans. On d12 burn off control blk wire 900 should it go sink or source to turn on the burn relay. My seems to sink with out a load, when you put the relay coil across it does nothing. However the orange wire on c connector block it the hot wire feeding that side of the coil. It will pull the relay in only when the other side is grounded to the frame. I have ohm tested the blk wire to the ecm and it is ok .003 thru it. According to the ecm connector identification shows d12 voltage at 12 with key on and 13.6 while car is running. Whats the deal?
