Ok after I've been out driving awhile and turn off my car it won't start again. The starter won't even click to act like it's gonna start up. Me and my dad haven't figured out what it was. We were thinking maybe there's suppose to be a heat shield around the starter and someone had takin it off or something. Cause we also have had to replace the started about 3-4 times in the year we've had the Camaro. We have replaced the NSS(neutral safety switch) and that helped with the replacement of the starter some but ya so I was wondering if you guys had any ideas what it could be. thx in advance for any help.

 

Do you have a key with the pellet in it? If you do and your problem is intermittent. It is possible that either the key or the contacts inside the ignition lock cylinder are worn.
