Changing Wiper Systems and Cuise Control
Changing Wiper Systems and Cuise Control
I have the standard wiper switch (off, lo, hi), and I am going to swap out columns in a week or two, and the other one I have has the delayed whiper switch. I would like to use the delayed wipers. It also is set up for cruise control, and I would probably like to have that hooked up. I have an 87 305 with a 4brl carb, and I got this column out of an 87 MPFI v6 that I stripped for parts last summer. I have pretty much everything for that car, so could you please let me know what I need to do the changes, and upload pics if possible.

I did a standard column to tilt column swap myself.
For the delay wipers, you need the delay control (which you said you have) and the delay wiper MOTOR for the firewall. Just switch it with your non delay motor. The wiring inbetween is in place and you shouldn't have to do anything.
Cruise is a whole different story as it involves vacuum lines. I did an aftermarket cruise myself so I have no advice.
