headlight problem
Hi all,
I'm upgrading the wiring for my headlights, as stated in the tech articles section. I'm hitting a strange problem though. The wiring and relays are all good, except I'm getting some voltage leaking through the low-beams headlights. It's strange. I tested the wiring and it's all good. The leakage seems to be coming from the Sylvania XtraVisions that I have.
With my stock harness, the voltage diff across the low beam headlights are 9.9V. With the new harness it's 11.8V. However, with the higher voltage, there's leakage of voltage onto the high-beam wire and it turns my high-beams on. I can't seem to understand it. Is there some diode on the headlights that are being oversaturated?
Thanks
