Red Power wire for heater controls burnt?!?!?
Ok guys heres my prob. My heater and blower and everything appears to function just fine. But the Red wire that supplies power to the controls (Red wire w/grey connector coming out of harness near the coil) has melted the connector completely off!!! What is causing this one wire to get so hot???

When you say the wire is getting hot, could you be a little more specific. Is the wire getting hot while power is applied, or the engine running. Can you feel the wire getting hot by touching it or are you just going by the fact that the connector is melted? Is it hanging close to something that gets hot when the hood is closed?
BTW, as I mentioned in another post you had on this subject, there are two areas these red wire go to. One is the AC/heater blower motor control and the other one is for the under hood light.
