Plug wire questions - under or over?
I am installing SLP headers and need to redo my plug wire routing.
Is it better to rout them under the headers or up and along the valve covers?
I know I need 90 degree boots and my current setup is MSD 8mm custom fit, only the back one on each side is 90 deg. Can I buy boots and cut the other boots off, cut wire to right lenght and install new boot. What special tools are needed to install boot?
Is it necessary to buy that heat sleeve stuff for the wires or will they withstand the heat good enough without it?
thanks

To remove/install boots all you need is a can of silicone spray lube. To route the wires, go with whatever keeps them as far from the headers as possible. Use the heat sleeving on whichever boots/wires get within an inch of the headers.
