Transmission: Automatic
need help fixing my brights

i got it to click under the dash but when i went to pull on the lever on the colom it just pulls back so i took off the casing and the pice of plastic falls out i cant for the life of me figuer out how to put it back on can you help me fix it

I know exactly what you are talking about. Mine got stuck in the bright once and had to take the whole thing apart, and yes it was hard to put back together. Are you talking about the white plastic piece that pushes the rod that's connected to the switch?
If that's the one there is no easy way to explain how to put it back together. You'll just have to keep trying until it stays. Sorry can't help much.

I gave up and took mine to chevrolet one day for them to fix it. They said oh it is a simple adjustment. They had it in and out in under an hour and charged me over $50. I was pissed.
