head lamps

hello i have a 90 firebird and have regular H6054 head lamps

rated at 35 / 65 wich i take it 35/low 65/high could i take the lamp and switch the wire so the high fil will light up on low beam and low on highbeam will the wiring take it or would i have to add anything before u all say it i know i can buy higher watt lights i just wanted to know if it would work or not thanks

legaly low beam lights are limited to 55 watts. The reason for this is that anything higher will blind people.

If you really want to do this just turn your high beams on and adjust the headlights down. If you just switch the wires you'd still have to aim your lights down
