LG4 wiring harness help
So in the middle of my engine transplant i decide i want both of my windows up, but i have power windows and they're both down right now. how would i go about getting them up? i took all the wiring harness out of my car for now but it's still good and intact. i noticed that there is two harnesses coming out of the drivers side firewall. the one smaller one is for the front end lights and stuff, but what is the other (bigger one) for? do i need it if im not going to be running a computer? all this wiring confuses me!!! thanks for any help!!

Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
You need both of them. One runs the lights, like you mentioned, and the other goes to the engine accessories - starter, alternator, choke; and also contains the feed lines from the battery to the fuse block.
You could use your battery and a pair of booster cables to put your windows up; clamp the negative side to a chassis ground (crossmember or something) and hook the positive to one of the thick red wires near the starter connection. Then try your headlights - if they come on, switch the positive connection to the other red wire. Then turn your key forward to the 'RUN' position, and hit the window switch.
