Solenoid or starter failure?
Hi guys,
These days when I go and start my car I will often get a click when I turn the key, and the engine won't turn over. It can take a couple of attempts before the engine will turn over and start. Once it was half a dozen times!
Is this likely to be a problem with the starter, or the solenoid? I'm figuring it's the starter because the click will be the solenoid doing its thing - right?

It sounds like your solenoid is engaging. I'd be looking at your starter just like you thought.
