Courtesy Lights

My car has no courtesy lights, and I was told that they were pretty much standard. So I started diggin around beause it may be there with no bulb or burnt or something. But diggin around I found these:

Passenger

Driver
The orange and white in that pic, could that be it? I have more pics of wehre that goes, it turns into white wires and just goes up into the dash i cant tell wehre, and then the other side turns into a fat black wire that just goes under the carpet to the rear....
What else could that be?

Thanks :lala:

thats suppost to be it.

if you had that option, the wires end in a 1/4 turn light socket thats connected to the underdash cover panel.

my 82 camaro had them.... my 91 camaro vert only has the lights on the underside of the mirror.

By that do you mean the hush panel? My wires are just exposed, I nver had the panel... By that do you mean the red purple and yellow green or the white orange plug thing? I really want em and I dont see anything to the effect of a 1/4 turn light

White/Orange should be the only interior lighting wires. I think the others are either ECM related or maybe for the radio

Your best bet would be to go toa junk yard and pull the little connectors out of a wrecked car or something. Cut em off with enough wire so that you can just crimp em to your existing wire. And you should be golden. The connectors will fit a 194 bulb

the orange wire is a constant 12 volts, if u have ever taken down your dome light, there is also a orange and white wire going to it too, the white wires are connected to the door switches, which when either door is opened, supplies ground to the white wire, turning on the interior lights
